Coimbatore Railway Station, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
View Detailed PricingDecent spot for a quick meal: Stopped at RHR Restaurant for lunch. The location near the railway station makes it incredibly convenient for travelers, and I was pleasantly surprised to find ample parking space available - definitely a plus in such a busy area. The restaurant wasn't crowded during my visit, which meant we were seated immediately and didn't have to wait. The service was genuinely good - our server was attentive and orders came out promptly, which is exactly what you want when you're potentially catching a train. As for the food, it was decent but nothing to write home about. The meal was satisfactory and filling, though it could have been better in terms of flavor and presentation. The portions were reasonable for the price point, and everything was fresh and properly cooked. While the food wasn't exceptional, I'm not complaining given the convenience factor and solid service. It's a reliable option if you need a proper meal near the railway station without the usual
The dishes served in RHR are tasty and hygienic. Service is also good. Don't miss the hot idlies and filter coffee of RHR if you are in for Breakfast or Dinner. They open at 5:15 am making it convenient to get parcel for people who are traveling by train in the early morning as it is located near to the Coimbatore junction.
RHR Restaurant was recommended to me by a local during my visit to Coimbatore, and I must say—it’s truly a gem. The food here is absolutely amazing. I tried their veg thali, which comes with unlimited rice and delicious, flavorful gravies that were really satisfying. We also had the ghee masala dosa, and to this day, it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. At the entrance, there’s a sweet counter that feels like the cherry on top of the whole experience—the Mysore Pak was heavenly. Thank you to the team for the amazing service and excellent food.
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel restaurant. The food price was extremely high for the quality they provided. After finishing my meal, I asked for one piece of sweet from their sweet shop, but they refused and said I had to buy 500 grams. That was very rude and unprofessional. When I asked for a chappathi, they said it wasn’t available. But after I finished eating, I clearly saw them giving chappathi to another customer. This shows how badly they treat people. Overall, the service was worst, the staff were not supportive, and the attitude was unacceptable. Definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend this place to anyone.🥹

Ordered a masala dosa, turn out to be great. The restaurant is just near the coimbatore Station. It's clean and comfortable and highly popular. Ambiance is great and so is the food.
We had conducted a puberty function on 27-08-2023 from 10 am to 3 pm. The food quality was very worst and not up to the level of RHR standards. Moreover, the supply incharge of the MAG hall and other staff gave excess head count details for lunch supplied. Further, They separately spoke with us for some adjustment. We have booked for 140 head counts but actual head counts might be 175 but the RHR staff told that the head count exceeded for more than 213 and the bill value for the excess head count will come around 13 to 14 thousand. Further, he told us that if we give 10000 to him then he will not raise any GST bill for the excess food supplied. Please note that in our 175 head counts including around 30 kids. They prepared food for 140 persons and supplied the same to 175 persons. Every hotel will provide some extra food more than our ordered quantity if we book the order as bulk. Here, the particular staff and his team is using the extra food facility provided by the Hotel Management to its customer and they are cheating the customer and the management. Request the RHR management to take necessary steps to solve the issue hereafter. I will not book any hall in RHR in future and won't suggest to our family and friends is the issue is not solved.
